Indoor Track – Ran once during the indoor season, finishing eighth in the mile run at the Border Battle with a time of 5:16.47.
Outdoor Track – Opened the outdoor season with a season-best time of 17:29.38 in the 5,000m run at the Florida Relays … Posted her best finish of the year at the Georgia Spec Town Invitational, finishing second in the 3,000m with a time of 9:54.79 … Finished ninth in the 1,500m run at the Tom Botts Invitational, crossing the finish line at 4:43.15 … Competed in the 5,000m run at the SEC Championships, finishing 34th at 17:50.37.

Kate competed at Ankeny Centennial HS for coaches Eric Cogdill and Andrew Kruzich...CROSS COUNTRY...She was a two-time IAHSAA All-State finisher in cross country, placing tenth in 2013 and 11th in 2014...TRACK & FIELD...Kate was also a four-time IAHSAA All-State performer for track, crossing in eighth for both the 1500m and 3000m in 2014...She was sixth in the 1500m and fourth in the 3000m in 2015, and was a member of the third-place DMR team...She competed in the Drake Relays in 2014-15, finishing as runner-up in the 3000m, fourth in the 1500m, in 2015...She was First Team All-Academic all four years (2011-15).
