TODAY'S DIME (Friday, Feb. 24): Family trip and travel day! Coach’s wives and family members are joining us on this trip to Ole Miss.
After our players attend their Friday classes, we load the bus at Mizzou Arena at 2:00 p.m. for our trip to Columba Regional Airport. We unload the bus, load up the plane for our one-hour trip to Memphis, unload the plane, load another bus for our one-hour trip to Oxford, Miss.
Once we're checked into our hotel, the squad gets taped and ready for practice from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Pavilion, run up and down the floor to get some of the “travel” knocked off, go over our preparation for Ole Miss. We get up lots and lots of shots and free throws for our game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
