TODAY'S DIME (Tuesday, Feb. 14): We just finished a quick crisp "day-before-practice" for our game tomorrow night with Alabama, a 7:30 p.m. start at Mizzou Arena. At this time of the year, when you're playing a team you have already played, the most important thing is to have “fresh legs” and a clear mind. Alabama will arrive later tonight for its practice, and their emphasis will be to use their strength and size to dominate on the boards and make it a very physical game. Our strategy will be to use our speed and quickness to win our third conference game out of the last four we have played.
By the way, our basketball managers will be playing the Alabama basketball managers later tonight, and our guys are “very good”, especially in Mizzou Arena.
