TODAY'S DIME (Monday, Feb. 13): Going 2-1 in our last three games makes those bumps, bruises and nagging injuries hurt a LOT less. We just finished watching some film and are now getting ready for our game with Alabama on Wednesday night. We played them earlier this year in Tuscaloosa, and shot 50 percent from the three-point line (7-of-14), but lost the game, 68-56.
Alabama is one of the best rebounding teams in the SEC, and we are working hard on limiting their advantage on the boards, especially limiting offensive rebounds and second-chance points.
The Tigers are playing with “confidence” and having FUN - which are two essential characteristics to being successful.
