SEC Awards

SEC Academic Honor Roll
Awarded to student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.00 or better, have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial academic credit, and fits into at least one of the following categories: recipient of athletic scholarship, letter winner, or non-scholarship student-athlete who has been on the varsity team for two seasons

SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll
Awarded to first-year students with a grade point average of 3.00 or better, completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial academic credit, and is either a letter winner or recipient of an athletic scholarship

SEC Brad Davis Community Service Postgraduate Scholarship
The SEC established an annual award to recognize outstanding and meritorious academic and athletic achievements of one male and one female student-athlete during the student-athlete’s entire college career

SEC Boyd McWhorter Postgraduate Scholarship
The SEC established an annual award to recognize outstanding and meritorious academic and athletic achievements of one male and one female student-athlete during the student-athlete’s entire college career

SEC Sportsmanship Award
It honors student athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior

NCAA Awards

CWSA Inspiration Award
Recognizes a woman student-athlete who experienced extraordinary personal sacrifice and/or extraordinary physical and/or emotional adversity, injury and/or illness during her college enrollment as a student-athlete

Career in Sport Forum
An annual education forum hosted by the NCAA that brings together 200 selected student-athletes to learn and explore potential careers in sports

Walter Byers Postgraduate Scholarship
One male and one female student-athlete are awarded a postgraduate scholarship by the NCAA in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and potential for success in postgraduate study

Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award
Intended to honor student-athletes who have overcome great personal, academic, and/or emotional odds to achieve academic success while participating in intercollegiate athletics

Ethnic Minority and Women’s Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship for Careers in Athletics
The goal of the enhancement programs is to increase the pool of and opportunities for qualified minority and female candidates in intercollegiate athletics through postgraduate scholarships

1A Far Academic Excellence Award
warded to student-athletes who have participated in at least two years of intercollegiate athletics, received a bachelor’s degree in the previous year, and achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher

Unsung Hero
Undergraduate honorary program which acknowledges the selfless acts of initiative and commitment performed by individuals on the MU campus.

Chancellor’s Excellence Awards
These awards recognize outstanding students and staff who have exemplified excellence through their leadership and involvement on campus and in the community.

Mizzou ’39- the Mizzou Alumni Association Student Board presents this award to 39 outstanding seniors each year for their academic achievement, leadership, and service to Mizzou and the community.
