  • Strong in relief at No. 23 Tennessee (May 4), limiting Volunteers to 1 ER over 3.0 innings. Led to his third and final victory of the year
  • Picked up the save in series opener vs. South Carolina (April 26), not allowing a hit over 3.0 innings with three strikeouts

FRESHMAN (2018)

  • Made seven appearances out of the bullpen as a freshman after reclassifying and missing his senior season of high school.
  • Posted a 6.17 ERA in 11.2 innings, allowing eight earned runs on 12 hits.
  • Struck out 13 in 11.2 innings but also walked six.
  • Had a shutout inning at FIU (2/17), picking up a strikeout … Tossed 2.2 shutout innings vs. UMBC (3/4) with a career-high four strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL (DAVENPORT CENTRAL)

  • Reclassified and skipped his senior year of high school to enroll at Mizzou early and is eligible to pitch in 2018
  • PerfectGame.org 2016 Underclass High Honorable Mention selection and 2017 Underclass Second Team All-American ... PerfectGame gave him a PG Grade of 10, given to potential very high draft picks and/or elite level college prospects
  • No. 32 overall prospect in the 2018 class before reclassifying, according to PerfectGame.org
  • Big-time pitching prospect who was expected to be off the board early in the 2018 MLB Draft
  • His tailing fastball, loose arm and 3/4 arm-slot delivery has drawn early comparisons to former Mizzou first-rounder Tanner Houck
