NOTES | CHAMPIONSHIP INFO

DETROIT— The University of Missouri wrestling program continued its run at the 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit Friday afternoon, advancing four wrestlers through rounds two and three on the consolation bracket and one wrestler into the semifinals. Session IV begins at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Freshman Keegan O'Toole grinded out a 2-0 victory in the quarterfinals to secure an All-American finish for the second consecutive season. Freshman Rocky Elam dropped his quarterfinal matchup and will wrestle in the consolation bracket Friday night.

On the back side, redshirt sophomores Zach Elam and Peyton Mocco and redshirt freshman Noah Surtin went 2-0 to advance to Session IV. Elam registered back-to-back wins by fall, including a tournament best 32-second pin.
