KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Mizzou Volleyball (12-8, 5-2 SEC) saw its five-match Southeastern Conference winning streak conclude Sunday afternoon, as it fell 3-1 (22-25, 20-25, 25-17, 21-25) at Tennessee.

"We weren't real sharp today. Tennessee did a good job of attacking our left side all day long. We were never really able to slow them down. They're a good team that has lost a lot of close matches. We knew this was going to be a tough road match. We'll get back in the gym on Tuesday and work at getting better."

- The opening set was back and forth throughout, featuring 12 ties and six lead changes. Mizzou possessed a late 20-18 advantage, but Tennessee responded with a 7-2 run to clinch its first set triumph.
- Member-Meneh enjoyed a hot start Sunday, producing four kills and zero errors in the opening set. Three other Tigers joined her with multiple kills over first set action.
- The Volunteers' first set victory ended Mizzou's run of 11 consecutive set triumphs dating back to the conclusion of its win at Auburn (Sept. 29).
- Member-Meneh exploded offensively in the second set, upping her total to 12 through two sets played. She clinched her fifth double-digit kill match of the year, plus establishing a new SEC single-match best (previously 11 at Texas A&M – Sept. 24).
- In need of a jump start in the third set, Larson guided Mizzou to an impressive 10-0 scoring run. The Tigers' substantial early 12-4 advantage paved the way en route to their first set triumph of the afternoon.
- The fourth and final set featured six ties, as the two squads competed in a tightly contested battle. Mizzou possessed a 15-13 advantage halfway through, but the Volunteers answered with a 12-6 run to wrap up their match victory.
- Despite the loss, Member-Meneh (17), Larson (12) and Deeken (11) all produced their top SEC single-match kill outputs this season.
- Larson secured her sixth double-digit kill match of the year, while Deeken secured her seventh such match.
