Missouri Basketball finished its third of 10 preseason workouts on Tuesday before the squad travels to Europe, Aug. 8-18. The Tigers had another solid two-hour workout and saw good efforts from several newcomers, including freshman Stefan Jankovic, who knocked down several perimeter jumpers.

Not to be overshadowed was sophomore Jabari Brown who continues to excel from beyond the arc. Brown has been consistent all summer and hit three consecutive treys in one drill (to earn his team a win) and showed the type of shooting prowess that made him a high school All-American.

Overall the team worked heavily in the half court, continuing to work in its offensive system, as well as defensive assignments against various half-court offensive looks. One key aspect of these early practices has been match-ups and Coach Haith and his staff have switched up teams over the last two days, working in players with different groups to help familiarity.

The teams finished with three (3:00) periods of full-court play and all-three contests were closely contested. The final play of the scrimmage period saw Keion Bell work his way into the lane with the clock winding down, stepping under an outstretched hand to sink the game winning layup. Bell's team was down one with 24 seconds remaining and the shot with just eight seconds left resulted in the winning bucket.

Missouri will not have a formal practice for the remainder of the week, but will have weights and agilities through Friday. Friday is the final day of summer class for the team.
