Third-Round Results 
Missouri Golf made the biggest jump of the 2011 Big 12 Championship on Tuesday, as the Tigers fired a 4-under-par 276 as a team to move into sixth place after 54-holes at the league championship.
The 4-under-par score allowed Missouri to leap over a host of schools at the par-70 Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan. Oklahoma State, the nation's top-ranked team, leads the event by 12 shots over No. 7 Texas A&M. The Cowboys (-10), Aggies (-5) and Tigers (-4) where the lone Big 12 schools to break par on Tuesday.
Head Coach Mark Leroux's club enjoyed quality play across the board. Stuart Ballingall and Will Harrold each posted 2-under-par rounds of 68 to move up the leaderboard, while steady freshman Emilio Cuartero shot an even-par 70 to remain in the Top 20. Ballingall opened the day tied for 25th, but his superb round moved him into a tie for eighth place and in position to earn All-Tournament recognition.
Harrold also made a big leap up the leaderboard. After starting the day tied for 46th, he is now 35th, just ahead of another Tiger, Jace Long. Long shot an even-par 70 to tie for 36th, while Nick Wilson shot a 1-over-par 71 to tie for 43rd.
Oklahoma State golfers Morgan Hoffman and Kevin Tway lead the event. Hoffman tops the leaderboard with a 3-under-par 207, while Tway is second with an even-par 210.
Action at the 72-hole Big 12 Men's Golf Championship concludes Wednesday.
