Mizzou vs. Northwestern State Postgame Notes

  • Mizzou upped its non-conference home winning streak to 63 straight games.
  • Marcus Denmon's three point shot at 14:07 scored his 28th point, surpassing his previous career high of 27, which he achieved two times. He finished with 31 points, leaving the game with 9:42 remaining.
  • Denmon's 31 point performance was the first time a Tiger surpassed the 30-point mark since DeMarre Carroll scored 31 on February 7, 2009 against Iowa State. The total was the most for a Tiger this season.
  • This was the first time that three Tigers had 20 points in a game since March 3, 2002 against Kansas.
  • Ricardo Ratliffe shot 10-of-11 from the field boosts his year total to field goal percentage to 74.1 (43-of-58). He entered the game shooting 70.2 percent from the field, tops in the Big 12.
  • Ricardo Ratliffe tied his career high of 22 points. He previously scored 22 against Georgetown on November 30, 2010.
  • Michael Dixon finished was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line, making him 30-of-31 on the year. He entered the game as Mizzou's career free throw percentage leader.
  • Matt Pressey tied his career high with five assists. He previously had five assists against Oklahoma on February 12, 2011.
  • Dixon's three pointer at 11:59 gave him 19 points, surpassing his previous career high of 18 against Old Dominion on December 30, 2010.
  • Mizzou went into the half leading by 26, its largest halftime lead of the year. The previous largest halftime lead came against Niagara, with a 23 point advantage.
  • Mizzou opened the second half on an 11-0 run, spanning the half's first 3:08.
  • Dixon's layup at the 10:26 mark in the first half was his 10th consecutive point for Mizzou.
