Post Game Notes vs. North Florida

- Missouri improved to 2-0 for the fifth consecutive season with its 96-58 win over North Florida. The Tigers have been 2-0 each season under head coach Mike Anderson.
- The win extends Missouri's home court non-conference winning streak to 49 games. The streak dates back to the 2005-06 season. In addition, Mike Anderson's club has won 42 of those 49 games.
- Missouri blew the game open in the second half outscoring North Florida 24-0 over the final 7:17.
- Missouri forced a Mizzou Arena record 34 turnovers on Saturday. That's the most under Mike Anderson at Mizzou and the team scored 30 of its 96 total points off North Florida miscues.
- As a team Missouri recorded 18 total steal, including career highs for a pair of Tiger point guards. Mike Dixon's five thefts surpassed his career high of four against Austin Peay on December 27, 2009. Phil Pressey added five in just his second game.
- Pressey added eight assists as well and narrowly missed a double-double with eight points.
- Two Tigers that didn't miss on their double-double opportunity were Ricardo Ratliffe and Laurence Bowers. Ratliffe enjoyed his first career double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Bowers racked up 12 points and 10 boards. The double-dip was Bowers' fourth of his career.
- The last time Missouri had two players with double-doubles in the same game was Nov. 29, 2003, vs. Oakland when Linas Kleiza (10 pts / 12 boards) and Arthur Johnson (19 pts / 11 boards) accomplished the feat.
- Bowers added four blocks for the second time in as many games. He now has eight blocks on the year and 69 on his career. Bowers is now tied for #10 in school history with former teammate Keith Ramsey, and Tiger veterans Greg Cavener and Sammie Haley.
Bowers and Ratliffe were two of five Tigers in double figures Saturday. Marcus Denmon scored a game high 18 points and was joined Kim English (13) and Mike Dixon (11).
- The Tigers once again proved the depth of their bench with 36-points off the pine. Eleven of 12 players who saw game action made at least one field goal. The lone Tiger not to score was Steve Moore, who put up two blocks and three rebounds for the team.
