Lee took home two top-five finishes at the Drake Relays on Friday

Lee Paces Tigers At Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa. - Known as, "America's Athletic Classic", the Missouri Tigers track and field team completed day three of the 100th Drake Relays, and got solid performances all around, competing with more than 7000 athletes that made the trek to Des Moines.

Krishna Lee had the highest finish of any Tiger on Friday, finishing fourth in the women's shot put and discus with a toss of 51 feet, 11.25 inches (15.83 meters) in the shot and improved on her discus mark throwing 166 feet, 3 inches (50.67 meters).

Running the 4x1600-meter relay for the first time in the outdoor season, the team of Garett Jeffries, Michael Barrows, Brian Graybill and Tim Cornell finished fourth in 16:47.37.

The women's distance medley relay team of Ellen Ries, Leslie Farmer, Shannon Leinert and Emily Baker finished eighth, clocking in at 11:42.94 in the 22 team field.

The Tigers will wrap-up the final day of the Drake Relays tomorrow morning, beginning at 8:20 a.m. with the women's shuttle hurdle relay preliminaries.
