COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Big 12 Conference named University of Missouri junior Kendra Melnychuk the conference's Co-Women's Diver of the Week for meets from Nov. 5-22 on Wednesday. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native has received the award all three times it has been issued this season.

Melnychuk continued what has been a dominant junior campaign with two wins at the Purdue Invitational earlier this month. The Canadian recorded a personal best score of 317.90 in her win on the 3-meter board and tallied a score of 263.40 to claim victory on platform. She also dove to a third-place score of 251.50 in 1-meter diving in West Lafayette, Ind. With the 3-meter win, her eighth of the season on that board, Melnychuk remains undefeated in 3-meter diving competition this season.

Melnychuk and the 18th-ranked Tigers return to action in 2008 when they take on Arkansas and Missouri State on Jan. 12 in the friendly confines of the Mizzou Aquatics Center.
