COLUMBIA, Mo. - In an effort to keep alumni involved in the Tiger program, the Missouri soccer team will host the annual Alumni Event on Saturday, April 29 at 12 p.m. at Walton Stadium.

In a departure from previous years, alumni will play side-by-side with current Tigers in seven-v-seven games. The new format will help the event's purpose of bridging a gap between former and current Tigers. In the past, the alumni and current Tigers squared off in a traditional game.

The Alumni Event will close out another successful spring season for Missouri, which was highlighted by a matchup against the full Canadian National Team on April 11. Although the Tigers fell to the Canadians 2-0 in the contest, Mizzou played strong and held Canada even in the second half.

The Tigers will conclude the competitive portion of their spring schedule Thursday, April 27 at 7 p.m. against a Boys U16 Club team. The game will take place at Walton Stadium and is free to the public.
