The University of Missouri women's golf team shot team rounds of 327 and 318 today and stand in seventh place at the Indiana Invitational, which is being held at Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind. The Tigers stand 18 shots behind Michigan State, which leads the 15-team tournament, with a 627 team score. Ohio State and host Indiana are tied for 2nd, at 628, while Missouri is 7th at 645. The tournament wraps up with 18 holes of play on Sunday.
Individually, three Tigers are in the tournament field's top-25 after Saturday's play. Senior Amelia Moses led the way with a two-round score of 152, and is in 3rd place, just five strokes off leader Emily Bastel of Michigan State. Moses carded rounds of 78 and 74 on the par-74 course.
Also in the top-25 are senior Jamie Tucker and sophomore Elin Ohlsson, who stand tied for 21st and 24th place, respectively. Tucker shot rounds of 82 and 79 today for a total of 161, while Ohlsson shot rounds of 80 and 82 to stand one shot back of Tucker with a 162.
Rounding out the Tiger lineup were junior Nisha Sadekar and freshman Tara Jacobsen, who were both tied for 62nd place, with identical two-round totals of 171.
