DALLAS - ABC Sports, FOX Sports Net and the Big 12 Conference
announced the telecast schedule for Saturday, Sept. 25, Big 12 games via
12-day notification Monday.
ABC plans to air the Southern Mississippi at Texas A&M game at 2:30 p.m. (CDT) after the over-the-air FOX Syndication Game of
the Week matches Kansas State at Iowa State at 11:30 a.m. (CDT). FOX
Sports Net carries Nebraska at Missouri at 6 p.m. (CDT).
Big 12 Conference football telecasts, starting with games of September 25, are subject to the 12-day/six day window network
selection process. This means that the conference office will be notified of
telecast selections on Monday morning 12 days in advance of the games. Twice
during the 1999 season ABC may request six-day selections while notifying
the conference on the Monday before the game.
News agencies are requested to refrain from announcing certain game times until final notification from the networks in
advance to the conference office. All pre-season listings for kickoff times
are subject to change.
Please also note these game times and recent kickoff announcements for games of Saturday, Sept. 18. Southern Mississippi at
Nebraska begins at 12:30 p.m. (CDT), Oklahoma State at Mississippi State is part of the Southeastern Conference's Jefferson-Pilot regionally-syndicated
game package at 2:30 p.m., and Rice at Texas will be distributed on a pay-per-view telecast basis at 6 p.m. (CDT). Please consult local cable or
