Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri women's soccer team opened its European Tour with a 3-0 victory Sunday over the professional Belgium Devils in Amsterdam. Amy Timmermann notched a goal and assisted on a Nikki Thole score. Kristin Boeker netted a goal on a pass from Stephanie Brennan and Jennifer Kram assisted Timmermann's goal.

"We played pretty well. It was the first time out and we were a little tentative, but overall we played a nice game," Head Coach Bryan Blitz said. " The great thing was that we had three different players score and three different players assist on goals. That really shows the depth of this team."

The Tigers next play tonight at 7 pm as they take on a another professional team from the Amsterdam area.
